COLUMBIA, SC – A man riding a dirt bike was fatally struck by a vehicle in northeast Columbia on Friday night, according to WIS TV.
The crash occurred on HardScrabble Road, near Carrie Anderson Road at about 7:30 p.m. on July 9.
A driver was making a left turn when he crashed into a man riding a dirt bike.
The bicyclist, who was reportedly not wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital. There, he later was pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation.
