HOPKINS, SC – One person was killed, and another was injured in an accident involving a motorcycle on Highway 378 yesterday afternoon, according to WIS TV.

The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. on July 10 on U.S. 378, near Lower Richland Boulevard, after the driver of a truck reportedly failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn. The vehicle then crashed into a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist died after the crash.

A passenger was taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
