WILLIAMSTON, SC – One man died at the scene of a crash on Pelzer Highway on Sunday morning, according to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office.
FOX Carolina reported that the victim is Deandre Nathaniel Mansell, 23, from Clemson, SC. South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that Mansell was driving a 2014 Dodge pickup truck around 4 a.m. on July 18 when he lost control. Mansell’s truck hit the guardrail before veering off the road and slamming into a tree.
Mansell was ejected from his truck, as he was not wearing a seatbelt. No one else was involved in the accident.

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of Friday’s bicycle accident as 23-year-old Chad Johnson, a Texas man.
Johnson died Friday when he was struck by the driver of a Honda Accord while riding his bike. The accident happened on Ashley River Bridge on Savannah Highway around 11:50 p.m. on Friday, July 16.
Johnson died at the scene. The Charleston Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – One person has died in a car crash on Dorchester Rd on Monday morning, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Live5News reported that the accident involved two vehicles. A Toyota sedan turned west onto Dorchester Rd from Appian Way when a Dodge pickup truck collided with it from east Dorchester Rd.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Toyota and the driver of the Dodge were taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.

RIDGEVILLE, SC – Police reported injuries in a car crash on Highway 78 in Ridgeville on Friday afternoon that involved a dump truck.
According to Live5News, the accident happened near Delee Circle just before 4 p.m. on July 16. Authorities told Live5News that a dump truck collided with two other vehicles and overturned. All lanes of Highway 78 were blocked due to the accident.
Police did not provide more details about the extent of the injuries.

MANNING, SC (CLARENDON COUNTY) – One person was killed when a car collided with a tree on Highway 260 in Clarendon County on Friday evening, according to WIS TV.
The crash happened about two miles south of Manning on SC-260 near Sweet Pea Lane at 5:30 p.m. on July 16, when the driver of a 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck went off the right side of the highway. The vehicle then collided with a tree.
The driver was taken to the hospital, and they were then pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
