What began in 2016 as a small gesture to support families after historic flooding has grown into one of our firm’s most meaningful traditions — the Annual Evans Moore Turkey Giveaway.
This year marks a major milestone: our 10th year of spreading holiday warmth and easing financial stress for local families in Georgetown. And while handing out turkeys may seem like a simple act, for us, it represents something bigger — connection, compassion, and community.
More Than a Meal — A Moment to Come Together
Every November, we step out of the office and into the heart of our community. We greet familiar faces, meet new ones, and share stories that remind us just how resilient and caring our neighbors are. In a season meant for gratitude and togetherness, these moments truly embody the spirit of Thanksgiving.
We started small — just 50 turkeys in 2016. By 2022, we were able to provide over 300. Thanks to the ongoing support of our clients, partners, and community members, this event continues to grow year after year. Our goal remains the same: to ensure every family who needs one can enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal.
