ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – Two people died in a car crash Sunday night that happened on Highway 21 near Widgeon Road.

According to Live 5 News, the accident happened around 8 p.m. on July 25. The driver and passenger both died at the scene when their 2014 Ford sedan veered off the road and hit a tree. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.

Officials are still investigating this crash and have not released the victims’ identities.
