GREENVILLE CO., SC – Two people have died and five others have been injured after a single-vehicle crash in which the car overturned early Tuesday morning, reports WYFF.

According to officials, the fatal crash took place on Rutherford Road near Marie Street around 2:30 AM on July 13th. The driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to exit the roadway, collide with a utility pole and a tree, and subsequently overturn. 

The two victims have yet to be identified by the coroner’s office. 

The five injured occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital, but are currently in stable condition.
