COLUMBIA, SC – One person has been killed and another has been hospitalized after a head-on crash Monday afternoon, reports WIS.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Wilson Boulevard near Swandale Drive around 2:00 PM on July 12th. A sedan was traveling northbound when they veered across the center line and struck an oncoming minivan head-on.
The driver of the sedan sadly died at the scene. They have yet to be identified by the coroner’s office.
The driver of the minivan was critically injured and remains in the hospital.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
