LEE CO., SC – 33-year-old Joshua Devon Hoyer was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, reports WLTX.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred on Green Lane near Teal Road around 6:30 AM on July 11th. Hoyer had been driving a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Green Lane when his vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
Hoyer had not been wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene due to blunt force trauma injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
