ABBEVILLE CO., SC – A driver has died and three passengers have been injured after a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday morning, reports WYFF.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Keowee Road near Bell Road around 11:30 AM on June 20th. A 2014 Chrysler 300 exited the roadway before crashing into a fence and then an embankment where it overturned multiple times. 

The driver, 29-year-old Daverio Myrell Walton, sadly died at the scene. He had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. 

Three passengers suffered injuries and have been hospitalized. Their identities and conditions are unknown.

Both South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Abbeville Coroner’s Office are investigating the accident.
