OKATIE, SC – 19-year-old Troy Hamrick was killed in a two-vehicle accident involving a box truck and a dump truck Wednesday morning, according to Bluffton Today.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on SC 170 near Old Bailey Road around 8:35 AM on June 16th. The box truck had been traveling eastbound when the driver attempted to change lanes and collided with a dump truck.
Hamrick, a passenger of the box truck, sadly succumbed to his injuries at the Memorial Health University Medical Center.
The driver of the dump truck was uninjured.
