GILBERT, SC – Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle accident involving entrapment Wednesday evening, reports The Lexington Ledger.
The accident reportedly took place on Juniper Springs Road near Volliedale Drive around 5:00 PM on June 9th. A sedan collided with a dump truck, causing the dump truck to overturn in the roadway.
First responders discovered one person trapped in their vehicle following the accident and were able to rescue them.
Multiple people were treated for injuries, but the exact number and severity is unknown at this time.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
