HORRY CO., SC – Three people have been hospitalized with injuries after a two-vehicle accident caused an ambulance to overturn early Monday afternoon, reports Firehouse.

According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the accident took place on Mr. Joe White Avenue near Robert M. Grissom Parkway around 12:15 PM on June 7th. A vehicle collided with the ambulance, which was reportedly not carrying any patients at the time, and caused it to overturn. 

Two EMS workers and one occupant of the other vehicle were injured and taken to the hospital from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Myrtle Beach Police.
