DARLINGTON CO., SC – One person has died after a single-vehicle accident in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to WFXB.
South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that the fatal crash took place on Kellybelle Road near Kellytown Road around 1:00 AM on June 2nd. A 2013 Buick veered off the right of the roadway then overcorrected and exited the roadway to the left. The vehicle subsequently collided head-on with a tree.
The driver, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, sadly died at the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the deceased.
