BERKELEY CO., SC – Sarah Ann Adame has been charged with driving under the influence after a multi-vehicle accident injured a Summerville police officer Wednesday evening, according to WCSC.
The Summerville Police Department reports that the accident took place on College Park Road near Market Road around 5:55 PM on June 2nd. Three vehicles were involved in the accident, including a white sedan, a black SUV, and a Summerville police vehicle.
The injured officer was taken to Trident Hospital, but has since been released and is in stable condition.
Adame was transported to Berkeley County jail.
