LADSON, SC (BERKELEY COUNTY) – Two sheriff’s deputies were injured in a suspected drunk-driving crash involving multiple vehicles on I-26 early this morning, according to WCBD.

The collision happened on I-26 and College Park Road at about 1:10 a.m. on May 30, as law enforcement officials were responding to a previous accident in the area. A suspected drunk driver then crashed into two patrol vehicles that were parked near the scene.

Two sheriff’s deputies were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries, then later released.
