ANDERSON CO., SC – A 17-year-old was killed Wednesday night after their minibike collided with another vehicle, according to WSPA.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office reports that the two-vehicle crash took place on Airline Road near Clinkscales Road around 9:00 PM on May 26th. The 17-year-old had been driving their minibike north in the southbound lane of Airline Road when they collided head-on with a Toyota pickup truck.
The 17-year-old minibike driver, who is not identified here due to their status as a minor, sadly died at the scene.
Both the Anderson County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the fatal accident.
