LITTLE RIVER, SC – One person was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing the road Tuesday night.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the fatal collision took place on Highway 17 near Baldwin Avenue around 10:50 PM on May 25th. The pedestrian had been illegally crossing the highway when they were struck by a 2004 Honda.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where they sadly succumbed to their injuries. The coroner’s office has yet to release their identity.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.
