GREENVILLE CO., SC – An EMS worker suffered injuries Monday evening after the driver they were attempting to assist fled the scene, according to WYFF.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reports that the accident took place on Keller Road around 6:15 PM on May 24th. The EMS worker has responded to a call about a woman passed out in the front seat of a Toyota Tacoma.

The EMS worker had been communicating with the woman before she suddenly put the vehicle into reverse and struck the EMS worker. The Toyota collided with another vehicle as well before fleeing the scene. There was reportedly a young child in the back seat of the Toyota.

Police request that anyone with any information about the Toyota Tacoma to please call 911.
