SURFSIDE BEACH, SC – A driver has been injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon, according to WMBF.
Horry County Fire Rescue reports that the accident occurred at 1254 Dick Pond Road around 4:45 PM on May 23rd. The vehicle involved reportedly drove through some fencing before crashing into a building. The driver was trapped in the vehicle following the crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital from the scene, but their current condition is unknown.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
