LORIS, SC – Three people have been hospitalized after a serious two-vehicle collision Thursday evening, reports WMBF.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the accident took place at the intersection of Prospect Road and North Highway 701 around 5:45 PM on May 20th. A road sign was knocked down in the accident and one of the vehicles exited the roadway and crashed into the nearby railroad tracks.
Three people were injured and taken to the hospital. The severity of any injuries suffered is unknown.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
