CHARLESTON CO., SC – Reports of injuries are still pending in a multi-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler that took place Thursday morning, reports WCSC.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on I 26 eastbound near Aviation Avenue at 6:31 AM on May 20th. The traffic footage shows a collision between multiple vehicles, one of which exited the roadway.
One person was trapped in their vehicle following the accident. First responders from the North Charleston Fire Department were able to rescue them.
The number and severity of any injuries has not yet been reported.
