FOUNTAIN INN, SC – A pedestrian has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a pickup truck late Saturday night, reports WYFF.

According to Fountain Inn police, the hit-and-run took place on McCarter Road near North Nelson Drive between 11:00 PM and midnight on May 15th. A pickup truck, which authorities believe to be a 2017 or 2018 Chevy Silverado, struck a person in the roadway before fleeing the scene.

The identity and current condition of the pedestrian is unknown.

The pickup truck will have sustained damage to the front-end, grill, and hood. The Fountain Inn Police Department requests that anyone with information about the vehicle involved to please contact them at 864-862-4461.
