COLUMBIA, SC – 59-year-old Thomas Bright Jr. was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning, reports WIS.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Garners Ferry Road near the McEntire Joint National Guard Base the morning of May 17th. Bright was ejected from his vehicle after a pickup truck rear-ended his moped.
Bright was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with injuries. Their identity and condition remain unknown.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
