ANDERSON, SC – One person has died and another has been hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning, reports WYFF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Highway 76 near Chapman Road around 2:25 AM. A minivan had been traveling east in a westbound lane when it collided with an oncoming box truck.
The driver of the minivan was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the deceased.
The driver of the truck was taken to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Their condition remains unknown.
