BERKELEY CO., SC – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Monday morning, reports ABC 4 News.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place along Royle Road near U.S. 17A around 1:15 AM on May 3rd. A Toyota Corolla fatally collided with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has not yet been identified by the coroner’s office.

The driver of the Toyota was uninjured.

South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.
