News: 16-year-old killed in two-vehicle rollover crash

SPARTANBURG CO., SC – A 16-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle rollover crash involving entrapment Tuesday evening, reports WYFF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Drayton Road around 8:30 PM on April 27th. The underage victim rear-ended an SUV and subsequently lost control of their vehicle. Their car then exited the roadway and overturned in a creek, trapping the 16-year-old in the vehicle.
The 16-year-old was rescued and immediately taken to the hospital where they sadly succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the SUV was also injured and taken to the hospital from the scene.
