HARDEEVILLE, SC – One person has died after a collision involving a car and a tractor trailer on I 95 late Monday morning, reports WSAV.
According to the Hardeeville Police Department, the accident took place on I 95 near Highway 17 around 11:30 AM on April 27th. The cause of the accident is unknown.
The driver of the involved car was injured and transported to the hospital.
The passenger of the car sadly died at the scene. Their identity has not been reported.
Officials expect traffic on I 95 to be backed up until late Monday afternoon.
