FLORENCE CO., SC – One person has died and another person has been hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon, reports WBTW.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Highway 378 near SC 51 around 3:30 PM on April 22nd. A 2018 Hyundai failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a 2019 Chevrolet truck in the intersection. Both vehicles overturned as a result of the accident.
The driver of the Hyundai unfortunately died at the scene. The coroner’s office has not released their identity.
The driver of the Chevrolet was injured and remains in the hospital.
