ANDERSON CO., SC – A motorcyclist was struck and killed by another vehicle on SC 187 Thursday evening, reports WYFF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on SC 187 at Arnold Road around 6:30 PM on April 22nd. The motorcycle struck an SUV that had failed to yield while turning left onto Arnold Road. The motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle in the crash and struck another oncoming SUV.
The coroner’s office has identified the motorcyclist as 52-year-old Larry James Shaw. Shaw had not been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
