ST. GEORGE, SC (DORCHESTER COUNTY) – One person was killed, and another victim was hospitalized after a motorhome hit a tree on I-95 on Friday morning, according to WCBD.

The crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. on April 9 in the town of St. George in Dorchester County, near mile marker 77 on I-95 northbound.

A motorhome went off the side of the exit ramp, then crashed down an embankment. The vehicle collided with a tree, then rolled over, trapping two people within the wreckage.

A passenger died at the scene.

The driver was taken to the hospital via medical helicopter with undisclosed injuries.

Their identities have not yet been released.
