FLORENCE, SC – A moped driver remains in the hospital after a hit-and-run accident Tuesday evening, reports WBTW.

According to the Florence Police Department, the accident took place in the 300 block of Royal Street around 8:30 PM on March 30th. The moped driver was injured in the collision and immediately transported to the hospital.

Police state that the other car involved is an early 2000’s burgundy colored Ford Expedition with champagne colored trim. The front-end of the vehicle was damaged in the accident.
