SPARTANBURG, SC – A 17-year-old was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night, reports WYFF.

According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the collision took place on Peachtree Road in the evening of March 29th. The teenage pedestrian had been attaching an RTV to their pickup truck with a tow strap on the side of the road. A car crashed into the RTV from behind before colliding with the pedestrian and the pickup truck. 

The teenage pedestrian was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.

The driver of the car was uninjured.
