HORRY CO., SC – A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a pickup truck on S.C. 707 Tuesday morning, reports WMBF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on S.C. 707 at Hidden Woods Drive extension at 7:35 AM on March 30th. A Suzuki motorcycle was traveling north on S.C. 707 when it crashed into a Nissan pickup truck turning left onto the highway from Hidden Woods Drive.
The motorcyclist had been wearing a helmet, and was transported to the hospital where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. The coroner’s office has not yet released their identity.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
