FLORENCE, SC – One person has died after a head-on collision between two vehicles Thursday afternoon, reports WBTW.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Hall Road around 3:00 PM on March 25th. The driver of a 2009 Camry was heading north on Hall Road when the vehicle entered the southbound lanes and collided with a 2015 Ford van.
A passenger in the Camry unfortunately died at the scene. The coroner’s office has not yet released their identity. The driver of the Camry was seriously injured and transported to the hospital. Neither the driver nor the passenger had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured.
