WESTMINSTER, SC (OCONEE COUNTY) – A 26-year-old man was killed after being struck by a train in Oconee County yesterday, according to FOX Carolina.

The accident happened on March 20 on North Avenue, near Earl Holcombe Street in the town of Westminster, when a 26-year-old man was reportedly walking along the railway.

He was struck by a train and died instantly. His cause of death was stated as multiple blunt force trauma.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
