LORIS, SC – One person was injured after a two-vehicle accident caused an 18-wheeler truck to crash into a utility pole Wednesday morning, reports WMBF

According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the accident took place on McNabb Shortcut Road at 6:07 AM on March 17th. The collision between an 18-wheeler and another vehicle reportedly caused damage to a utility pole. 

One person was transported to the hospital from the scene. There is currently no information regarding their identity or condition.

South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
