AIKEN, SC – A bicyclist has been pronounced dead after he was hit by two vehicles while crossing the street Monday, reports WJBF.
According to the Aiken Department of Public Safety, the accident took place at the intersection of East Pine Log Road and Waites Street on March 15th. The bicyclist had been crossing East Pine Log Road when two vehicles crashed into them.
The bicyclist was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the identity of the victim.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and the Aiken Department of Public Safety continue to investigate the accident.
