CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Fire Department responded to a house fire that injured one person Friday night, reports ABC News 4.

According to the Charleston Fire Department, a three story duplex on Climbing Tree Court caught fire in the evening of March 12th. The fire began in the kitchen, but the exact cause remains under investigation. 

One occupant was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. There is currently no information regarding their identity or condition.
