EDMUND, SC – One person had to be helicopter lifted to the hospital and several others were injured after a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning.
The Lexington Ledger reports that the accident took place on Boiling Springs Road near the intersection of Redmond and Bethany Church Road the morning of March 11th. The collision involved a service truck from a local business and another vehicle. The service truck overturned as a result of the accident, and the other vehicle was reportedly severely damaged.
Some occupants were ejected from their vehicle in the collision. One person was taken to Prisma Health’s Trauma Center by helicopter. The number and severity of other injuries sustained has yet to be reported.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
