LEXINGTON CO., SC – All lanes on I 20 westbound were closed Thursday morning after a series of accidents shut down the highway, The State reports.
According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, both accidents took place on I 20 on March 11th. The first occurred near Exit 51 around 6:45 AM and the second occurred near Exit 55 around 7:30 AM. The number of vehicles involved and injuries sustained have yet to be reported.
All of the westbound lanes were cleared by 7:45 AM, but I 20 was still experiencing traffic delays for much of the morning.
