SPARTANBURG CO., SC – A motorcyclist has died and two teenagers have been injured after a motorcycle collided with a car early Wednesday morning, reports FOX Carolina.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Cross Anchor Road and Mountain Shoals Road at 6:35 AM on March 10th. A 2009 Kia had been crossing the intersection when a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed into it. 

The motorcyclist had not been wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the deceased.

The 19-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger of the Kia were both seriously injured and remain in the hospital. There are currently no updates on their condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
