SUMTER CO., SC – 28-year-old Derrick Roddell Hopkins, Jr. has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.
According to WIS 10, the crash occurred on Highway 53 and Fullard Road around 1:30 PM on March 6th. Following the accident Hopkins was transported to Prisma Health Richland where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the accident.
