COLUMBIA, SC – Several cars crashed into a pedestrian who had been walking in the middle of SC 277 Sunday evening.
WIS 10 reports that the collision occurred between Farrow Road and Bull Street on SC 277 around 7:30 PM on March 7th. The pedestrian had been wearing dark clothing and walking in the middle of the highway at the time of the collision. In total, they were struck by three different cars that had been traveling southbound.
One of the drivers attempted to help the pedestrian as they waited for emergency responders. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead. Their identity is unknown at this time.
