BEECH ISLAND, SC – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon, reports WRDW.
According to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, the fatal accident took place on Williston Road and Woodcrest Drive at 1:05 PM on February 28th. A 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle had been traveling east on Williston Road when a 2010 Buick backed out of Woodcrest Drive and into the motorcycle’s path. The motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the Buick.
The motorcyclist suffered blunt-force trauma as a result of the accident and died at the scene. He has been identified as 47-year-old Daniel Fenn.
A toxicology report was conducted by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, but the results have yet to be released. South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident as well.
