PIEDMONT, SC (ANDERSON COUNTY) – A woman was killed in a house fire in Piedmont early this morning, according to FOX Carolina.

The fire occurred at a home located at 405 Iler Street at about 2:45 a.m. on February 27.

The victim, 56-year-old Angela Karen Lollis, was discovered deceased in a bedroom. Authorities say that she likely died of smoke inhalation.

An official autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
