CAMDEN, SC – A man has died following an overnight crash Sunday that wasn’t discovered for nearly eight hours, reports WIS.

According to Kershaw County authorities, the crash occurred between midnight and 1:00 AM on February 21st on Mt. Zion Road. 33-year-old Tobias Sanders was driving a pickup truck through a rural area east of Camden when he veered off the road and crashed into several trees. 

The accident was not discovered until around 8:00 AM Sunday morning. Emergency responders transported Sanders to the hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. 

The exact circumstances of the crash remain unknown, and South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
