CHARLESTON, SC – A driver crashed into a parked motorcycle that subsequently knocked down the motorcyclist standing next to the vehicle Monday night. 

WCSC reports that the accident occurred around 8:38 PM on February 22nd at the intersection of King Street and Spring Street. The distracted driver of a Ranger pickup truck rammed into the parked motorcycle, which then knocked the motorcyclist over.

According to Charleston police, the motorcyclist suffered a sprained ankle and a scraped elbow in the accident.
