MYRTLE BEACH, SC – A multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon has caused several injuries and blocked traffic on two roads, reports ABC 15.
The Myrtle Beach Fire Department states that the accident occurred at the intersection of 29th Avenue North and Robert Grissom Parkway. There is currently no information on the number of vehicles involved in the crash, nor the number or severity of injuries suffered.
The westbound lane of 29th Avenue North and the northbound lane of Robert Grissom Parkway remain closed to traffic. Officials request that local drivers avoid the area of the crash in order to ensure the safety of both the emergency responders and the public.
The accident is under ongoing investigation.
