ABBEVILLE, SC – A driver was killed, and another was injured during a two-vehicle collision about five miles west of Abbeville last night, according to FOX Carolina.
The accident happened on Highway 71, near Rock Hill Road, at about 7:35 p.m. on February 19, as the driver of a GMC SUV collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck that was rounding a curve in the roadway.
Both drivers were trapped within the wreckage and were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet later succumbed to their wounds.
The identities of the drivers were not immediately released.
