ANDERSON CO., SC – The pedestrian involved in the hit-and-run crash previously reported by Evans Moore, LLC died Tuesday afternoon.
WSPA reports that the victim of the February 16th accident has been identified as 29-year-old Brandon Strickland. Strickland was rushed to the hospital following the accident, but later succumbed to his injuries.
The hit-and-run accident took place at the intersection of SC 8 and SC 20. Strickland’s family and friends searched the area of the crash for his cell phone. They have also inquired if local businesses may have footage of the accident.
There are no updates on the identity of the driver or the make or model of the car.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident. They request anyone with information to please contact them as soon as possible.
